I am so thankful to be a part of the First Baptist family! I grew up on James Island and went to Clemson (go tigers!) and graduated with an early childhood education degree. I decided teaching wasn’t the perfect fit for me so immediately after graduation I started at MUSC to pursue a degree in nursing. I have been an operating room nurse for 18 years now and have loved it!
Life has a funny way of working out though and getting this opportunity at First Baptist is exactly what I’ve been praying for. My son, Luke, will be a freshman at the high school and my daughter, Britton, is starting her first year here in the 6th grade. My husband, Hap, is a First Baptist alumni so I know first hand what a long, meaningful impact this school has. I feel like with my background in education and nursing I have come full circle and can’t wait to get to know the students and families at First Baptist!
