Last summer as we were anticipating facility transitions over the next couple of years, we made the decision to cater our school lunches rather than preparing them at the school. Apple Spice stepped in to meet our needs and provided terrific lunches for our students during the school year.
As we begin our 2019-20 school year, we are working with a new provider for our school lunch program. Continuing with the catering model, we will now be using Schoolhouse Fare as our school lunch provider. Schoolhouse Fare provides lunches to several schools in the area, and we are excited to work with them to deliver quality lunches for our student body.
Schoolhouse Fare will set weekly menus for our Downtown and James Island Campuses, and you will continue to order and pay online. Our menus will now feature Chick-fil-A, Subway, Tropical Smoothie, In-Season Catering, Verde, and we anticipate pizza will be added to the menu in September. Of course, you still have the option to bring lunch from home, but we hope you will take advantage of this new and exciting school lunch program.
Please read over the detailed information sheet to set up your online account for lunch orders. Menus will be posted a month at a time, and ordering a full lunch must be done five days before the lunch delivery date. However, there is a "late order" menu that can be done until noon the day before the delivery date.
