A couple of weeks ago our local newspaper included an article on a book written by College of Charleston professor of microbial genetics, Moshe Rhodes, PhD.
The book, Jenny's First Sleepover, was written to give parents clear insight to the need for vaccinations. I have read the book and give it a "thumbs up" . In simple terms and childlike illustrations the author explains the diseases that are prevented through immunization and the facts about those terrible diseases that can result from not being vaccinated. I highly recommend this book and have bought a copy for the downtown campus nurse's office.
In the meantime, THANK YOU, PARENTS, FOR KEEPING YOUR CHILD'S IMMUNIZATIONS CURRENT AND SUPPLYING A RECORD FOR SCHOOL.
All schools in South Carolina are required to have an updated immunization record for each student making our world a safer place.
